MISSION STATEMENT

Joan Shearer removing plastic from a swan's neckSwan Lifeline exists to

a) rescue and provide shelter and treatment for sick, neglected and injured swans, and

b) educate the public about the incidence and effects of pollution and human activities on swans and other wildfowl on the rivers and waterways of the United Kingdom.

Our goal is to develop a professionally managed treatment centre to continue in perpetuity, which is not dependent upon any one person or group of people for its survival.
