4th June 2006 - Rendez-vous Blue Badge Tourist Guides, aka Debbie Keenan and Bobbie Latter, supporters of Swan Lifeline and authors of the book "Windsor, A History & Celebration", have planned a special guided walk from Windsor along the riverside to Swan Lifeline on Sunday 4th June at 11.30am. The walk is planned to start on the Windsor/Eton footbridge and it will take around 45 minutes to get to Swan Lifeline. On route, learn about the history of Windsor, the castle, the Brocas and other interesting subjects. On arrival, visitors can learn about the operation of the rescue centre before a gentle amble back to Windsor. Tickets need to be booked in advance and cost £5 (£4.50 for RBWM Advantage Card holders). The proceeds will be donated to Swan Lifeline on arrival at the rescue centre. The walk will only go ahead if a minimum of 6 tickets are sold, so please leave your telephone number when booking. 3rd September 2006 - Swan Lifeline will be holding an open day at their headquarters, Cuckoo Weir. More information can be found on the poster.
